Laura Bodien, M.Ed.
Laura received both her B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame. She recently returned from 18 months teaching and traveling in South America, primarily in Chile and Ecuador. She has just completed her certification in teaching English as a Second Language. She is looking forward to returning to Chile in March to work at Universidad Catolica. Oldest of seven, and life long Notre Dame fan, Laura is thrilled at the opportunity to share her Home under the Dome with all of you! lbodien@nd.edu
Sarah Davis, M.Ed.
Sarah received degrees in English and journalism
from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska, and a M.Ed. from
Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She has taught middle school English
and, more recently, spent the past year teaching English to 2 to 7-year-olds in
Santiago, Chile. She believes very strongly in Scottish Highland cattle and

Dan Faas, M.Ed.
Dan graduated from Michigan State University in 2010 with a
bachelor's degree in journalism and from the University of Notre Dame in 2012
where he received his masters in education as part of the ACE program. He
taught English, literature and religion to middle-schoolers in Mobile, Alabama
for two years before teaching high school English at St. George's College in
Santiago, Chile. Now that he's back in the U.S.A., he enjoys reading, running
and watching the Spartans destroy their competition in football and
basketball.

Nicole received a B.A. from the
University of Notre Dame in Psychology with a minor in Education, Schooling and
Society in December 2013. She was a member of the ND women's soccer team and
plans to play professionally in Europe starting in the Spring of 2014. With
Spanish as her first language, she hopes to volunteer in South America after
she's done playing soccer.

Sophie Troy, M.Ed.
Sophie is originally from Toledo, Ohio
(a few hours east of Notre Dame). She received her bachelor's degree from the
University of Notre Dame. After college she joined the ACE program in which she
taught middle school science and religion in Phoenix, Arizona and earned her
master's degree in education. While in Phoenix she worked with many Spanish
speaking families and learned of the importance of quality ENL education. She
then joined the Chile ACE program (ChACE) and taught 6th grade English in
Santiago, Chile. She is now excited to be moving back to the United States to spend time with family and friends and work with the ENL program!
